Short Bio
Ukrainian artist working in acrylic, oil, watercolour, and illustration—creating bold, emotional art that explores beauty, resilience, and identity.
Statement
My work is a response to loss, resilience, and the search for beauty in uncertain times. As a Ukrainian artist displaced by war, I create to reclaim my voice and preserve fragments of memory through colour, emotion, and form. I work with acrylic, oil, watercolour, and illustration, layering each medium to express complexity and transformation.
Biography
I am a Ukrainian artist now based in the UK, rebuilding my creative life after being displaced by war. When I fled Ukraine, I was forced to leave behind all my past work. After three years of creative silence, I have reconnected with my passion for art and now create vibrant, emotionally expressive pieces that celebrate strength, beauty, and resilience.
I work across a variety of mediums including acrylic, oil, watercolour, and illustration. My process often begins with a sketch, evolving into layered, symbolic compositions. My work explores themes of femininity, identity, and transformation, using bold colour and surreal elements to tell deeply personal stories.
I am currently focused on creating new work, participating in open calls, and sharing my voice as part of the wider European art scene—shaped by both personal loss and a renewed commitment to creative expression.
